Johannes Brahms (Bible)

In my study I can lay my hand on the Bible in the pitch dark. All truly inspired ideas come from God. The powers from which all truly great composers like Mozart, Schubert, Bach and Beethoven drew their inspirations is the same power that enabled Jesus to do his miracles.

Johannes Brahms (Composer, 1833 – 1897)

Ludwig van Beethoven (Fruitful)

In whatsoever manner it be, let me turn to God and become fruitful in good works. Nothing higher exists than to approach God more than other people and from that to extend His glory among humanity.I will place all my confidence in your eternal goodness, O God! My soul shall rejoice in Thee, immutable Being. Be my rock, my light, forever my trust.

Ludwig van Beethoven (Composer, 1770 – 1827)

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Papa)

God first, then papa.

Directly after God in heaven comes a Papa.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Composer, 1756 – 1791)

What Mozart was saying, is that, recognize God for who He is and His power and His authority as God, then come to him as a child, for He is our Father in heaven.

Just as we are to be a parent to our children first, then their friend, but never the other way around, for then the respect of the authority is lost and the child is confused.
