With what is going on today we see people in pure panic over what is going on in the world. We have to realize that people are panicking because they do not know what to do. In our country we see that people are going out into the stores and buying everything that they believe that they are going to need for at least a month. Now we know that being prepared for disastrous times is wise, but going manic and buying everything on the shelf is not wise or good for your fellow man. We all need provisions and we are all going through this together. Covid-19 is a virus that has become a pandemic around the world and we are learning about it daily. What to do and not to do, but reality is that no matter how much you prepare, you might get it or not get it. This is why we have to look at why everyone is so panicked. People are not afraid of getting the virus, people are afraid of dying.

If you do not have a relationship with God Almighty, then you are probably not at peace through all of this. When you have this relationship you are also not afraid to die. The reason, because once you put your faith in Christ you realize that your future destination is heaven and this is your final destination. No more pain, no more tears, no more disease, no more evil to deal with. You can have this relationship by asking Jesus into your heart. All you have to do is pray to God and ask Him to reveal Himself to you and be prepared for Him to answer. The first thing that you will notice is that He gives you a peace beyond understanding. He will continue to reveal Himself to you through letting His Holy Spirit clean up your life slowly but surely.

Now let’s look at another aspect of being a child of God. We understand that God is our provider and we know that God is going to provide everything that we are going to need. He also is our protector, so we do not need to go out and buy guns and ammunition. The reason people are doing these things is because they do understand the depravity of mankind. People are losing hope in their fellow man and turning to desperate measures. This is a really bad place to be in your spirit. This lack of hope is driving people to despair and making them make unwise decisions.

Reality is that a month from now things will be back to a fairly normal situation. The only part that will be different is our economy, we will see a slow down while the markets readjust themselves. People will still be going back to work, kids will eventually go back to school and everything will get back to normal. Then we have to ask ourselves, what can I do not to be so panicked the next time a situation like this happens again. Because according to the Word of God (The Holy Bible) there are going to be times in the future that are going to be a lot worse than anything that we are seeing today.

My wife recently asked me if this was the beginning of the end times and if so what do we do. I reassured her that it was not the last period of time according to the Bible. There is a last period of time in world history that is supposed to be a seven year period, in which the first three and a half years there is going to be a lot of prosperity and the second half is going to literally be hell on earth. The people will be even greedier than they have been through this ordeal and according to Scripture, heartless as can be. This is a period of world history that will see tragedy at every level. One world government, total government control, the anti-christ will demand to be worshipped as God and everyone who wants to buy or sell will have to take the mark of the beast. Thank God this is not the last seven year period, but it is a good foreshadow of how people are going to react.
